Back in Business is the newest release from Pittsburgh based hip hop collective Driving While Black Records. This project marks the first time that all DWB label-mates will be featured on the same project since their Support Black Business album in 2019. Rising Pittsburgh rapper Faradé is also featured on the new project.

The EP is executive produced by Livefromthecity under his producer moniker Low Key Flame. Majority of the tracks were recorded at the YMCA Lighthouse Studio in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood. Post production was handled by legendary producer and engineer Big Jerm who is known for his work with Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller.

Driving While Black recently inked a distribution deal with New York-based label Soulspazm Records. “Love & Trust” is the first release for DWB under this new partnership. The label has a full docket of releases scheduled for 2022 including solo albums by Livefromthecity, JM the Poet, Jordan Montgomery, and Saani Mac.

“Love & Trust” was released as the lead single on January 31st.
